Meet and Interaction
I had a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with Celina Lee, Founder & CEO of Zindi, along with Himanshu Shukla Sir (Faculty, University of Delhi) and Mohd Jabir Qureshi.
My journey into AI/ML has been significantly shaped through participating in real-world data science competitions on Zindi. Alongside my teammate, Aman Deva, I’ve had the opportunity to work across diverse problem statements and domains, from fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs), to building Computer Vision pipelines, and experimenting with Time Series Foundation Models. Each challenge has been a hands-on learning experience in translating theory into impactful, real-world solutions.
Grateful for the insightful discussions on AI, data science, and their real-world applications. Looking forward to continuing this journey of learning, building, and contributing through future projects and collaborations.
Over the past few weeks, I've been deep-diving into optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. By integrating advanced re-ranking and semantic chunking strategies, we were able to significantly reduce latency while boosting output accuracy.
It's fascinating to see how combining foundational Mathematics with modern GenAI frameworks can yield such tangible improvements. Looking forward to tackling more Edge AI challenges next!
